Last day of class ever!!

After 4 and half years I am finally done with school! I took my last final at 9 am this morning and fought back tears all the way to the car. It is now officially time for Nathan and I both to be big kids! The good thing with school being over is now we can focus all our spare time on the wedding!

Cake Tasting & Honeymoon

Last weekend we went cake tasting, which I believe has been Nathan's favorite part of wedding planning so far. We took pictures of each other trying the different flavors. I think we are going to stick with plan old white and chocolate. We also decided on a honeymoon destination! We have decided to go with the Sandals Resort, Grande Antigua! It looks amazing! Now we have to figure out which travel agent to go through.

We are both getting really excited even though it seems so far away!

Bridal Show

We went to our first engaged bridal show Sunday. Nathan couldn't have been more excited! :) We learned we are completly confused on were to go for the honeymoon. We've narrowed it down to about 5 different locations. The bridal show also confirmed that we can't find the perfect invitations. Solution...we will make them! We have also scheduled engagment picutres for the beginning of November. Things are moving along perfectly. If only we could get this guest list under control.

Regional Champs!

This past Saturday North Posey took home 1st place at Regionals, a first for the Marching Vikings. Way to go Nathan! This Saturday the band will compete at semi-state in Franklin, IN. Good Luck!!

Lengths of Love

Yesterday I donated 8 inches to Lenghts of Love, an organization that provides wigs to adult women with cancer. Although i'm glad i donated my hair I want it to grow back really fast!

District Champs!

Saturday Nathan won district in marching band in Jasper. The first time in North Posey history! Way to go Nathan!

Busy Saturday

My Mom and I started on center pieces for the reception this Saturday. We only spent 2 hours in Hobby Lobby trying to find the perfect mix of flowers. After flower shopping we went and tried on wedding dresses at Bridal Warehouse. I'm torn between two beautiful dresses. It should be an easy decision. Lucas came and went crazy every time I put one dress on. It was obvious which one he loved! At least he can't tell Uncle Nathan what it looks like!

Happy Birthday Amber!

We celebrated my birthday Sat. night. We started the evening at RiRa's then to icon nightclub. Everyone had a great time in our free V.I.P section.

On Monday my actual birthday we celebrated at my sister's house since we still did not have power. I got an incredibly sweet card from Nathan and was able to watch the Hills so everything was just perfect.

The beginning...

The proposal! Let me say first of all Nathan was the perfect gentleman. He took me to St.Louis for dinner and a baseball game. He suprised me with a romantic walk on the river front where he proposed on the large steps in the park under the arch. It was everything I had ever imagined and more!

It didn't take long for the planning to begin. So far we have booked the wedding, preist, reception hall, and date, July 11, 2009. Nathan will be getting his way with fried chicken and mashed potatoes for the reception while I have my way with the colors. They are pink, black, and white.
